Hi, there! We are Jamie & Jill (also known as J&J)! We are excited to share our story with you!

Our love and life story has always been quite serendipitous, and we believe building our family will be, as well! I was raised in Kentucky and lived there with my parents, who were married for 30 years, until a job took me to the East Coast. My father was a contractor, building many homes throughout his career (including several that I lived in); my mother was a paralegal. They were loving parents who were firm, but fun, and attended every one of my sporting events! One time, my dad let me dress him up as George Washington with a wig I made of cotton balls. And my mom loved to play Rummy with me, keeping a notebook with records of all our games! They helped me become...

I was born in the Lehigh Valley, PA to my amazing parents who have been married for 46 years! I was fortunate to live on a small farm and be raised around very hard working, loving, and accepting family and friends. I have two older brothers and LOTS of cousins; being close – in proximity and age – we spent every second possible running around outside, riding bikes on the back roads, and getting dirty. I feel lucky to still be close to family and imagine a similar life of close-knit fun for a child.

We built our forever home in 2019. We have four bedrooms (one of which is currently a yoga/meditation room), two-and-a-half bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining room, office, craft room, and an attached garage. We have LOTS of space for a child in our home. In the near future, we hope to finish our basement into a family area for fun things like game night and movies! We have a two-acre yard where all of our animals (two dogs, one cat, 18 hens, & one rooster) love to play! We also have a huge garden for growing vegetables and fruit to last all year!...

Just a half mile down the road are Jamie’s parents (Grams and PopPop), who invite us over for dinner every Sunday after we have afternoon “snack” at Aunt Carol’s - a weekly ritual where all the aunts bring a sweet treat for everyone to enjoy while we catch up! Our nephew Zac (9) and cousins Paislee (5) and Ethan (4) are often at “snack!” We love that we are close to family and get to see them often.

As a married couple, we have many common interests such as enjoying nature and engaging in activities for health/wellness like walking, hiking, and yoga. And we love playing with our dogs, Finley and Hartley, and spending time outside with the chickens – all of our fur and feathered children are quite entertaining! Like most, we have a list of favorite TV shows that we watch together when we aren’t busy doing projects around the house.
